New Orleans

We had a very interesting summer. In addition to our regular SW Florida gigs, we made a couple of road trips. In July we played a private party in Baton Rouge, LA for our friends Dave & Montez' 50th anniversary. Then a bunch of us went to "The Big Easy" for a day of fun. And what an awesome day it was ! Flora-Bama Lounge

Then we headed east down I-10 to the famous Flora-Bama Lounge, Package and Oyster Bar, on the Florida/Alabama border, for a one night gig. It's the place Jimmy Buffet wrote the song "Bama Breeze" about. We had the best time. The crowd was amazing.

Northern Ontario

We were in Canada at the end of September and we did a little two night road trip to the Walker House in Southampton and the Legion in Tobermory. At the Walker House, we were joined by our good friend Willie Mulholland on the fiddle. It was a great gig.

Nashville

In early October we headed back down to Florida, but we stopped in to visit our good friends Peter and Debbie in Nashville, Tennessee. They were wonderful hosts, showing us the town from Opryland to Broadway. Deb got up to sing at the world famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, where many of the Ryman Auditorium performers got 'tuned' up before they went on stage.
